With Kenwood’s legacy of acoustic engineering excellence, this set delivers exceptional sound reproduction, ensuring every drive feels like a live concert.

Powerful Sound with Superior Clarity

The Kenwood KFC-PS170C is built for music enthusiasts who value clarity across all frequencies. Whether you love hard-hitting bass, smooth vocals, or sharp treble, this 2-way component system ensures a well-balanced soundstage that brings your favorite music to life.

Each component is carefully engineered—featuring a 170mm (6.5-inch) woofer for deep, rich bass and a 25mm (1-inch) tweeter for crisp high-frequency response. Together, they deliver powerful, distortion-free audio even at high volumes, ensuring every note sounds precise and natural.

Key Features of the Kenwood KFC-PS170C Component Speaker System

1. 2-Way Component Design

This speaker system separates the woofer (for mid and low frequencies) and the tweeter (for high frequencies), ensuring detailed and dynamic sound reproduction. The inclusion of a high-quality external crossover network ensures seamless frequency distribution between components.

2. 170mm Polypropylene Cone Woofer

The 6.5-inch woofer features a durable polypropylene cone reinforced with a strong rubber surround. This design enhances bass response, minimizes distortion, and delivers deep, punchy low frequencies with clarity and precision.

3. 25mm Soft Dome Tweeter

The silk dome tweeter provides a smooth, natural high-frequency range, ensuring vocals and instruments sound lifelike and crisp without harshness. Ideal for listeners who appreciate high-definition treble performance.

4. Peak Power Handling – 330W

Enjoy powerful sound output with 330 watts peak power (and 80 watts RMS) for dynamic, distortion-free playback even at higher volumes. Whether you’re listening to rock, hip-hop, or classical music, every genre sounds balanced and full-bodied.

5. Frequency Response – 30Hz to 35kHz

With a wide frequency range, the KFC-PS170C captures deep bass, detailed mids, and sparkling highs, ensuring a full-spectrum sound experience that surpasses standard coaxial speakers.

6. High Sensitivity – 88dB

High sensitivity ensures the speakers efficiently convert amplifier power into sound. Even with modest amplification, you’ll experience strong, clear output.

7. External Crossover Network

The built-in two-way crossover optimally distributes frequencies to each driver, maintaining clarity and separation between highs and lows. The result: a balanced soundstage with superior imaging and depth.

8. Robust Build Quality

Engineered for durability, the Kenwood KFC-PS170C features a steel basket frame for stability and vibration resistance. The premium materials ensure long-lasting performance under varying car conditions.

9. Easy Installation

With compact crossover modules and standard 6.5-inch mounting size, the system is compatible with most car models. The tweeters can be flush-mounted, angled, or surface-mounted, giving you flexibility in your car’s interior design.
